  ATARI COMPUTERS

• If you think that Atari Corporation is dead, then you're right... B U T ! Since a lot of people knew that Atari wasn't serious enough, some companies such as Medusa Computer in Switzerland and DirecT40-60 at Computer Direct created and still are creating some super mighty TOS clones (processing power: 120 MIPS!!!) in order to make up for Atari's weaknesses.

• If you're still thinking that Atari is not supported and there's nothing interesting for it then look at this HUGE list, you'll find that Atari is largely supported. Actually, I think that all the main links are there. This list was made by Computer Direct.

• One of my FTP sites in MA for Atari computers. Mainly, I put some personal english versions of software that are only in French or German.
• If you have a Falcon and want a very nice full working version of a true color paint software then get Escape paint v.5 English
  The link might be slow sometimes but...Damn!!! Those german guys are very good....
• NEW!! KGMD, the installation kit of Mint is now available in English. With this you can get a clean and well parametered multitasking environment. The KGMD itself is a little bit old, but just update few files and here you go.
  Firstly, get the KGMD distribution, then get the KEMD (~380kb) english part (kgmd.txt, setup, mint.cnf and readme.now), you will replace, while the installation these two files: setup and mint.cnf. And please read the documentation , Mint is already complicated. It will help you alot.
